Your IT should not depend on something breaking first.
Most businesses that call us are not shopping for new technology. They are tired of how the technology they already have gets handled. If two or three of these sound familiar, the problem is the model, not the hardware.
The same problems keep coming back
The printer, the VPN, the one machine that needs a reboot every Tuesday. Each incident gets cleared. Nothing gets fixed.
Support only starts when you call
Nothing gets looked at until somebody has already lost an hour to it. By the time it is reported, it is an emergency.
Invoices you cannot predict
Every visit is a line item and every quarter is different. Budgeting for IT turns into an educated guess.
Nothing is written down
No asset list, no network diagram, no license record. The knowledge lives in one person’s head, and sometimes that person leaves.
Security is assumed, not managed
Antivirus was installed once. MFA covers some accounts. Nobody checks, and nobody could tell you when it was last reviewed.
Nobody owns the environment
Six areas of responsibility.
One monthly cost.
Help Desk & User Support
Your team shouldn’t have to figure it out themselves or wait two days for a callback. They call us, the ticket is tracked, and the person who picks up already knows your setup.
Workstation & Server Management
Machines get slow, drives fill up, and patches quietly stop installing. We monitor and maintain every device, and we know how old each one is before it fails on you.
Cybersecurity
One wrong click can lock up your whole business, and your insurance carrier now wants proof you’re protected. We handle the controls and the documentation, so the questionnaires stop being something you dread.
Microsoft 365 & Cloud
Email that goes down, files nobody can find, licenses you’re overpaying for. We manage the whole environment, handle the migrations, and back it up so one deletion doesn’t become permanent.
Network Monitoring & Management
When the internet drops, the whole office stops. We watch firewalls, switches, access points, and circuits around the clock, and most problems reach us before anyone reports them.
Backup & Disaster Recovery
A backup nobody has tested is not a backup. Local and cloud copies, restores verified on a schedule, and a recovery plan written down before the day you need it.
How we manage your environment.
Six standing responsibilities that run whether or not anything is wrong. This is the difference between a managed environment and a phone number you call when something breaks.
01 MONITOR
Agents on every endpoint and network device. Alerts route to us first, usually before anyone on your team notices a symptom.
02 MAINTAIN
Patches, application updates, firmware, and disk health handled on a schedule, outside business hours wherever we can.
03 SECURE
Endpoint protection, MFA coverage, mail filtering, and access reviews. Security is a standing task with an owner, not a project that ended.
04 DOCUMENT
Every device, license, credential, and network detail recorded and kept current. The documentation is yours, and you keep it if you leave.
05 SUPPORT
A consistent local team on your tickets, working from the documentation they built for your environment.
06 IMPROVE
A regular review of what broke, what is aging out, and what belongs in next year’s budget.
Why Connecticut businesses choose Evolve.
Local people. Predictable costs. A team that already knows your environment.
Local & Accountable
Connecticut-based support from people you’ll actually know. Based in Shelton, on site across Fairfield and New Haven Counties and the Naugatuck Valley.
Predictable by Design
Flat monthly pricing, documented systems, and proactive management mean fewer surprises and a technology budget you can plan around.
The Same Team, Every Time
A consistent local team that already knows your environment, not a rotating outsourced help desk you have to brief from scratch every time.
Direct Access to Experience
You talk to the people doing the work. No account manager relaying your question to an engineer you never meet.
Who we work with.
Most of our managed IT clients are Connecticut businesses with roughly 6 to 60 employees. That is the size where technology has outgrown whoever has been handling it on the side, but a full-time IT hire is still hard to justify.
We work outside that range too, and headcount is not an eligibility rule. Fit depends more on your technology, your security requirements, how many devices you have, and how much responsibility you want us to take on. A four-person law office with real compliance obligations and a ninety-person manufacturer with an internal IT lead who needs coverage are both good fits.
SERVICE TIERS
Three tiers, so you pay for the coverage you actually need.
TIER 01
Core
The essentials, always running. Labor is billed only when you need it.
✓Remote monitoring on every device✓Patching and security updates✓Endpoint protection and antivirus✓Asset and license documentation—Labor included—Advanced threat protection
BEST FOR
Very small teams and single-location offices that want their systems watched and maintained, but handle most day-to-day questions themselves.
TIER 02
Complete
Everything in Core, plus the support desk and the security stack.
✓Everything in Core✓Unlimited remote help desk✓Advanced threat protection (EDR/MDR)✓Email security and anti-phishing✓Managed backup with verified restores✓A named point of contact who knows your setup
BEST FOR
Growing businesses where downtime costs real money and staff need somewhere to call instead of figuring it out themselves.
TIER 03 FULL COVERAGE
Elite
Everything in Complete, with labor and onsite response fully included.
✓Everything in Complete✓Unlimited remote and onsite labor✓Same-day onsite response✓Priority remote response✓Reduced rates on project work✓Infrastructure planning and lifecycle management
BEST FOR
Businesses that want one predictable number covering everything, with no conversation about hours when something goes wrong.
Why we build it this way
Some MSP models only make economic sense once a business reaches a certain size, while others bundle the same level of support into every client plan. We built Evolve differently. A smaller business should be able to have its systems properly monitored, patched, secured, and documented without being forced to prepay for labor it rarely uses.
We would rather manage a six-person office properly at Core than sell it coverage it doesn’t need.
Moving between tiers
What the first thirty days look like.
Four steps from the first phone call to a documented environment under active management.
Initial conversation
We ask what your business runs on, what keeps breaking, and who handles it today. If managed IT is not the right answer for you, we say so on the call.
Assessment & discovery
We inventory every device, account, license, and network component, then walk you through what we found, including the parts you will not enjoy hearing.
Cleanup & documentation
Agents deployed, security baseline applied, backups reviewed and verified, and your environment written down properly, often for the first time.
Ongoing management
Monitoring, patching, help desk, security, and regular reviews of what needs attention next. One flat monthly cost from here forward.
How managed IT is priced.
We don’t publish a per-seat rate, because an honest number depends on those four inputs, and a number without them is one you’d have to renegotiate later. On the first call we’ll get enough context to tell you whether managed IT is a fit and what we’d need to put together an accurate number. For straightforward environments, we may be able to give you a realistic range right away.
What you should expect either way: one predictable invoice a month, covered work that doesn’t generate a second one, and no line item for the fact that something broke.

Questions we get before the first call.
Anything not covered here, ask us on the call. There is no wrong question.
A monthly service where an outside team takes ongoing responsibility for your technology instead of waiting for you to report problems. We monitor your systems, patch and maintain them, manage security, document the environment, and handle day-to-day support requests, for a fixed cost per user rather than an hourly rate per incident.
Help desk and user support, workstation and server management, cybersecurity, Microsoft 365 and cloud administration, network monitoring, and backup and disaster recovery. Hardware, software licensing, and larger projects such as an office move or a server replacement are quoted separately.
Flat per-seat, billed monthly. The rate depends on user count, device count, what your environment looks like, and how much you want covered. On the first call we’ll get enough context to tell you whether managed IT is a fit and what we’d need to put together an accurate number. For straightforward environments, we may be able to give you a realistic range right away.
Not unless that’s what you want. Co-managed IT is common: your person keeps the work they’re good at and the institutional knowledge, and we take monitoring, patching, security, and the overflow. It also means they can take a week off without the office holding its breath.
Yes. We work with businesses under ten employees as well. Fit depends more on your technology, security requirements, number of devices, and how much responsibility you want us to take on than on a specific headcount.
We’re based at 356 Howe Ave in Shelton and provide onsite IT support to businesses throughout Connecticut. Whether you’re nearby or across the state, our team can support your environment in person when needed, with remote support available wherever your team works.
No. We start with what you have. The assessment tells you which equipment is fine, which is nearing end of life, and which is a genuine risk, then we plan replacements on a budget you set. We’ve talked clients out of hardware purchases more than once.
